Arcade Privacy
The short version
You can play every game without an account and without telling us anything. The arcade never asks for an email address, phone number, or location. The only things you can type are leaderboard initials and, in Battle Mode, first names and a stakes line.
What we save, and when
- When a run starts and ends: an anonymous record of the run (the game, the time, the score, and any campaign tags in the link that brought you here, such as utm_source). This is how we count plays and check that scores are real.
- When you choose to save a score: the initials you type (up to 3 characters) and your score. These appear on the public leaderboards. A saved score also gets a challenge link you can share; anyone with that link sees those initials and that score.
- When you create or join a battle link: the first name or nickname each player types, the stakes line, and each player's battle score. Anyone with the battle link can see them. A battle and everything in it is deleted after it expires (7 days).
- Pass the phone battles: the names and the stakes line never leave your device. They are not sent to us or saved.
- Counts: we count how often things happen (games played, cards shared, battles started, taps on the Poo Squad link). These are plain totals with no names attached.
Share cards (the picture of your rank and score, and the battle certificate) are made on your own device. Sharing one is up to you.
We do not store your IP address. We store a scrambled (hashed) version for a short time to limit spam and cheating.
Children
The games are family friendly and anyone can play. The arcade never asks for an email address, phone number, last name, address, or location. Battle names are meant to be first names or nicknames; please do not type anything more identifying than that.
Who else is involved
Cloudflare hosts the arcade and stores its data, and its Turnstile check runs when you save a score to keep bots out. That is the only outside service the arcade uses.
The arcade sets no advertising cookies and runs no advertising or analytics pixels. Your sound setting and your personal best score are kept in your own browser.
Your choices
To have a leaderboard entry or a battle removed, email info@thepoosquad.com with the initials, score and date, or the battle link.
Under a battle result there is a link to poosquad.com. It is an ordinary link: following it sends nothing about you or your battle.
